For long term reliability and comfort I would look at Beyerdynamic first (DT1770pro, DT 700pro x, dt770pro x, dt770pro) and Sennheiser second (HD620s, HD569, hd400pro, hd400s, hd300pro, hd280pro or even the crazy hd820) before any other options. Maybe also akg and audio-technica. Visually though, I

They sound absolutely nothing like the Focal Radiance - nothing. I just sold mine a few days ago; they're not remotely similar. That's not a subjective opinion - if you a/b'd them, I highly doubt you'd still draw that comparison. Maybe you forgot how the Radiance sounded - or you tried a broken set.

I have a Hyby R4 and I thought it was a endgame until I went to Japan and listened to the FiiO M27 new flagship DAP. WOW.....
