Every other post here seems to be about the Momentum headphones. What are the best WIRED headphones from Senn? And why?

You will pretty much always get various answers for "the best" of everything. It's very subjective and depends on many factors such as personal tuning preference, budget, open-back vs. closed-back etc. Personally, the best closed-back wired Sennheiser headphone for me is the HD 620S. As for open-bac

Which Sennheiser headphone would you actually recommend to a newbie?

If a friend asked me which Sennheiser headphone to buy first, it would really depend on the type of headphone he or she was looking for. Here’s what I’d recommend depending on the person/buyer: Open-back on a tighter budget → HD 560S, no question. At the refurbished price especially, it’s one of the

Worth it for Gaming?

You might consider something in the HD 500 series along with the compatible-designed Sennheiser HD 500 BAM boom arm mic. Perhaps the HD 560S or the newer HD 550. The other option is the closed-back HD 620S for increased isolation. These are wired and should be budget friendly and fairly easy to driv

From XM4 to senheiser ?

Open-back: HD 550 Closed-back: HD 620S These would be my personal recommendations for you if you want to start with very good wired Sennheiser headphones :)

Can you pitch Sennheiser to a newbie?

If you want a "Buy it for life" with noise isolation, and Bluetooth, I recommend the Sennheiser HD 620S and the Qudelix 5K Dongle DAC. The 620S is a wired headphone, which comes from a line of headphones that are known to last 10-20 years, or more. A wireless Bluetooth headphone will almost certainl

Momentum 4 battery life degredation

With regard to pure sound quality, most Sennheiser headphones above 100-150$ are equal or better than the M4, honestly. For open backs, there are the HD 560S, 505, 550, 600, 650, 660S2 etc. :) The best bang for the buck (if you are in the US) is probably the HD 6XX. And if you want a closed back wir

Dad passed away and handed down this equipment

If you meant Atmos mixes for stereo and or headphones 🎧, that's a simple NO from me. I've only ever used wired headphones (Sennheiser HD 620S currently) and always will. I can't stand Spatial/Atmos mixes for music, especially on headphones 🤮

Help a newbie out?

The closed-back options I‘d recommend right now are the HD 620S when it comes to a fully passive and wired headphone, as well as the M4 when it comes to a wireless bluetooth closed-back headphone with ANC (that can also be used wired, either via 3.5mm or preferably via USB-C). However, if you are op
