Every other post here seems to be about the Momentum headphones. What are the best WIRED headphones from Senn? And why?

You will pretty much always get various answers for "the best" of everything. It's very subjective and depends on many factors such as personal tuning preference, budget, open-back vs. closed-back etc. Personally, the best closed-back wired Sennheiser headphone for me is the HD 620S. As for open-bac

Sennheiser HDB 630 versus HD 600 and HD 490 Pro

The HD 630 are amazing. That said, they’re not necessarily meant to replace your wired open-backs or your stationary desktop setup. They’re primarily designed to deliver a wireless audiophile listening experience — mainly on the go, but not exclusively so — in a closed-back form factor with ANC and

Why does Sennheiser have such a good rep?

It’s not nearly as black and white as that, though. The Consumer division still includes legendary lines like the HD 500, 600, and even 800 series, which continue to set standards in their respective categories. New releases such as the HD 660S2, HD 620S, and the brand-new HD 505 and HD 550 have all

What headphone disappointed you at first...then grew on you?

I've never owned audiophile headphones until a couple months ago. I did research and ended up purchasing the HD 620S because I live near an Interstate and needed to keep the nose to a minimum. That being said, at first, I was running them from my motherboard audio which is an MSI MPG X870E Carbon, w

Today I decided to set my turntable up for headphone listening... an interesting perspective!

I’ve only recently been seriously getting into vinyl, and I use headphones about 50% of the time. I recently decided to upgrade to Sennheiser HD 620S, and wow! I could hear the faint, light metallic tap of Sonny Rollins fingering his sax. I was blown away. And now I’m looking to upgrade my stock car

I have $350 for a pair of headphones for gaming/ music/movies.

Just got the sennheiser hd 620s which is a closed back that’s supposed to emulate the wider soundstage in open backs. Really impressed so far, best of both worlds

good headphones to listen to classical music?

I know this is an old thread but I have a pair of Sennheiser HD 620s and I love them especially for mid to late 19th century music. They’re great for 18th century and baroque music as well but I slightly prefer my Ie200s.

Looking for quality headphones, totally new to this.

If you want an open-back wired headphone, the HD 550 is my main recommendation right now. It's relatively affordable, has an excellent stock tuning, and is pretty easy to drive as well. The HD 490 Pro is also a great option, but it’s a bit more expensive. Even if you decide on a headphone that does
