New setup

Unfortunately, I decided to retire my LG V50 due to its cracked screen causing issues and bulging battery. I initially thought of buying another one; however, I realized that a player with bigger screen would be more beneficial to me since I also listen to live performances (particularly jazz) on Yo

Logitech Aurora Collection or Razer’s Quartz Pink line?

I would not buy anything from Razer, the build quality is just bad. Logitech makes good products. But personally for the headset if your priority is comfort and sound quality I would go for one made by an actual audio company instead. I have a Sennheiser HD599 that's lasted me for 9 years and it sti

Guys I want to know a good head set to hear clear footsteps

Most headsets are quite bad. I would recommend getting some headphones. Possibly open-back ones such as the Sennheiser HD560S or HD599. There are many many more good heaphones on the market, and they are typically priced quite well. But the main thing you need to do to be able to hear footsteps bett

HD599SE sound worse than AirPods 4?

Which device(s) do you use your HD 599 SE with? Generally speaking, they certainly don't sound worse than AirPods 4, no, and I'm not talking about EQ or anything like that. Even in their stock sound, they should be a warm, smooth, slightly relaxed pair of over-ear headphones and quite easy to enjoy.

Are Beats Good For Producing?

No, beats and many types of headphones typically don't have a clean sound, they tend to increase the bass to make it sound louder this makes it hard to get a good grasp of your sound when producing. What you need is studio headphones, now there is a wide range of headphones for this as well, but Sen

Is HD 550 the most divisive Sennheiser headphone?

I have them and they are certainly the best headphones I owned (some Beyerdynamics, HD 569, HD 599, HD 4.40 BT, Sony WH-1000XM4). I understand HD 550 are leaner than all of them, but I mean, it makes the sound so much more detailed and clear. When I go back to some of these other headphones it just

Have HD 599s. Where to next?

You have been asking this a lot, and have been through multiple headphones, yet you say that you still prefer the HD 599. If you like the HD 599 very much, why look for something to replace it? It serves you well, it sounds great for you. You already have something that you like.

had these (560s) for 3 years (ignore the pet hair and skin particles please) is there a way to repair them?

Just get the replacement pads from Sennheiser website. They label them as the "analytical tuning" pads for 500 series. You can also pick up a pair of "warm tuning" pads which will make it sound a bit more like the 599 or old 558. If you use EQ I would actually recommend the warm pads as they have al
