I am 70 years old. Zero objective possibility of distinguishing lossless. I am happy with my Samsung Q990C and YTM Premium via Bluetooth. I also have the great advantage of a wonderful wife who has shared with me for 50 years the taste for good audio.

It’s Samsung Q990C paired with Apple TV 4K. The sound quality is great, Dolby Atmos compatible contents sound really immersive. So all in all a great home theatre system for the price.

I have a Dune HD Homatics Box R 4K Plus, hooked up to my TCL QM7 and Samsung Q990C sound bar. Running Syncler+ through the Dune player Dolby Profile 7 MEL and FEL along with 8 as iptv through TiviMate that all upscale to DV or HDR depending what i am watching no issues with Audio plays it all from D

Not OP but, I live in an apartment and use a Samsung Q990C. The sound is incredible.. Are you telling me it gets even better? My poor wallet (and neighbors)

For all you know it could have been transcoding to a lower quality because you didn't setup your hardware properly, hard to help if you can't provide details.
