Watch 8 series full specs

If 1.34" is really correct for the GW8C display, then I have no idea what anyone at Samsung was thinking. It's like they had a design meeting where the only point was the alienate customers. People who want traditional deisgn, nope you get a slightly changed GWU design. People with small wrists, nop

Apple Watch Ultra 3

I'm never going to downvote someone for being honest about the deficiencies of Samsung. They keep missing the boat with almost ALL of their watch offerings, especially with regard to GPS accuracy, which should be an absolute nailed-on part of the product if you are going to market your product as be

Crappy update to One UI 8.

You're not alone. A lot of fanboys out here simping for these pieces of mung. I tried pointing out how compared to the Apple Watch Ultra 2 which I switched from to the GWU and was told I don't know what I'm doing. It's all my fault. It's all user error. So it's my fault the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultr

Battle of the Ultra's - AWU2 vs Samsung GWU

Yeah. For apps it's a seamless transition. Other than, of course, messaging. I use the watches for fitness. I'm not a full time athlete but I train. And workout. And exercise. The GW Ultra is not as good as the AW Ultra here. But it could be good enough. However, WearOS is still far behind WatchOS.

Samsung Galaxy Watch users report poor battery life after recent updates

Which update? It's been poor for a while and even lagging on GWU - it never used to lag. Typical for Samsung.

Heart Rate Monitor.

Worst part is that Samsung is well aware of it. An employee at a Samsung store told me to wait for the next version of the watch. WTF! So what do I do with my current GWU? Glad I kept my 5 year old Garmin. During cardio the GWU is inaccurate by about 15%, and that’s if I get an actual HR reading. We

Got banned from r/GalaxyWatch

I didn't like the design from the beginning, not a fan of Squircle design, but I said "What the hell, I'm choosing the ecosystem", also don't like that GWU is too bulky, I hate that the watch is still laggy, micro-lag, stutters, etc. All of them summed up and wanted to check other smartwatches in st

Has anyone tried using just a smartwatch without carrying a smartphone?

Yes. I use to go on 10K/15K walks and runs with my AWU2 all the time and leavey phone at home or in the trunk of my car. Can't do that with my GWU because I cancelled the LTE plan because of the issues Samsung was having with LTE connected watches back in the spring. Can't say how good the LTE is wi

My review and comparison of the Pixel Watch 3 vs. Galaxy Watch Ultra (2024)

thanks for your thoughts and experiences. it helps to round out the conversation. i don't feel like my PW3 isn't smooth or fast. against my GWU, they both feel fluid swiping through tiles, and scrolling through the UI. i'd be interested to see if your PW4 settles down and ends up as fluid in another
