Watch 8 purchase
As a dev I own many samsung and huawei watches. I tend to wear huawei more because of the battery (10-12 days) and I also like the more real watch-like design. Samsung is much better in integrating with the ecosystem of your Samsung phone, for example DND and alarms synchronize automatically. Wear O

Best Samsung Galaxy Watch
Of the 6 different Samsung watch models I've owned (inclusive Ultra) I can honestly say the watch 8 Classic is my favourite. Perfect blend of functionality and style, great for both casual and smart.

It happened AGAIN
Ha. I just got a notification through the app earlier that there were even better discounts happening. I actually checked this time because I usually ignore once I've ordered. Dropped my price $38. Samsung has a price match policy for anything bought on their website within 14 days of purchase. Simp

Love it! Don't mind the chubby wrist :)
Thanks! And yeah, Watch6 often felt a bit laggy, while the Ultra is so smooth. Also GPS is so much better now! I see lot of people complaining that Ultra/GW8 bands are not compatible with GW6/5/4 and viseversa. I get their point but to me the older design how the bands are connected always felt kind

Whats the appropriate method of attaching Watch Band to Galaxy Watch 8 / 8 Classic?
I think so. Though it's not completely the same, they both use Samsung's Dynamic Lug System for band connection. The experience and the amount of force necessary is very similar when I am attaching a band to my GWUltra and when I tried replacing the band on my wife's GW8 just now.

Got gifted a Watch 8 40mm - First thoughts
when you buy the watch direct from Samsung you can mix and match watch and strap choice and size. don't let the strap bring you down, it's basically a throwaway anyway. like others have said, there are adapters online for using conventional stamps and there is a growing daily selection of made for g

3rd party WFs still broken (AoD)... PW4 WearOS 6.0
I couldn't agree more! And not 1 review is talking about it. Android always was about customization. I really like to change watch faces depending on the occasion or mood. And I still don't know what Google does different than Samsung. The base WearOS 6.0 is the same and the GW8 doesn't have this is

No cheap oem-sized bands for GW7?
I've bought all my Samsung OEM bands for like 10-20$, as they are always discounted when the new watch releases. Stop looking at samsung.com and look at any other electronics reseller. Especially as the GW8 just released, the GW7 bands (I am only talking about original OEM bands) should be at a stee

To android smartphone users, what's the real good/best smartwatch you've ever had?
I've had almost a dozen over the years and my Galaxy Watch 7 is definitely the best I've ever used so far. I'd like to try a pixel watch someday, but I really hate non-standard watch band attachment points, and I REALLY hate that samsung switched to a non-standard band connection for the GW8. GW7 us

I still love MY GW4 Classic. What upgrades am I missing out on?
Faster UI (due to upgraded processor and a bit more RAM), Gemini, and the bottom is less bulbous, much comfier to the wear. I like the new lug system. With a button, it's much less finicky to exchange band compared even to "quick remove" spring bar. Samsung doesn't advertise it, but turns out you ca
