PSA for GW 8/8C owners, you don't need an lug adapter if you got the hybrid leather band.
Yeah, I can confirm. One of the first things i did was check to see if the leather band was using spring bars. Having a springbar tool makes it even easier to get them off. It also makes me a bit pissed at Samsung (and Google who does the same thing for their leather straps). You just had to put a s

Pixel Watch 4: 3,000 nits, 72hr battery, satellite SOS — finally something worth the hype?
Hope we get some cool smart/connected watch faces. The Samsung GW8 watch faces were disappointing.

GW 8 Action Button
I feel the same way you do about the Action Button — it’s solid hardware but the software options are so limited that it ends up feeling like wasted potential. Most people don’t use any of the preset actions because they’re either redundant or not useful, and Samsung hasn’t opened it up for real cus

What the Hell have you done Samsung
The Galaxy Watch was already struggling with differentiation between the product tiers before. The GW6 Classic was literally just a GW6 in a different case (same for the GW4 Classic). But now they’ve even given it a similar case to something else in the lineup (something substantial more expensive m

Totally agree. For a flagship watch, the GW8 faces felt… underwhelming. Hoping the dev and modding community picks up the slack, or Samsung surprises us for once!

İs there any leak for milimeters?
My biggest and maybe only gripe with the new GW8 is the changed strap mechanism. I think this is a big step back from Samsung the previous 20mm mechanism was perfect now they've gone the proprietary way of Apple watch🚮

Looking for curved band adapters for the Galaxy Watch Ultra
There are adapters for regular, straight-ended bands, like the one in the middle of the 1st picture I attached. It's adapters for gapless bands I haven't found yet, as they seem to not exist. PSA: if you do switch to the GW8, be careful when purchasing new bands/adapters from non-Samsung sources. I'

720MB consumed by watchfaces for no reason.
What annoys me the most is you can't see how large the system partition is Watch Faces on my GW8 is 33,47MB; plus I've updated all watch faces via Samsung Galaxy Store on Watch. Those apps do still not get updated automatically, same issue was on GW7 before

bands with graphite hardware for watch 8
huh, 🤷🏻♂️ why do you think for gw8 owners I'm a minority. I would havw thought silver vs graphite would be 50/50. since lugs are unique to gw8/gw8c, why would they make rose gold? why wouldn't they focus on the colors that the watch comes in. and small minority runs doesn't seem to bother Chinese mfgs.

I caved in, and got the genuine.
I hate myself for missing the chance to get the cloth band for free during the pre-sale. I pre-ordered my GW8 44mm, and a week later, they started offering the band as a free gift. I went contacting support to request it, but they said no. I thought about canceling my order to re-purchase, but I rem
