FPV camera in non-normal environment
I don't have a specific recommendation for you but just wanted to add that using "FPV" or "RC drone/car" in your search might lead you down the wrong path. The "FPV" term, especially as it refers to RC vehicles, implies you are transmitting the video wirelessly. The term "digital" in this context re

Brand new builder
You could take any analog cam and hook up the yellow camera wire straight to this mini DVR and it should on theory record to an SD card. https://a.co/d/0eqO5yZ9 Then you would just need a USB to power the DVR and a source of 5v power for the camera. Kayoumini is all the rage. HDZERO build.

Getting into fpv (appreciate any tips)
With 200€ you can get the skyzone cobra x. In germany they cost about 180€ ish used and got 720p, decent dvr steadyview reciever and a hdmi in port for a vrx (analog/walksnail/hdzero) or the sim. If you want a affordable, small and lightweight action cam later on then look into the runcam thumb pro
