Unless there are multiple reports of this type of failure I don't think it is anything to be concerned by. i almost grabbed the RK68 until i read about the ghosting too. ended up with the Keychron V1 - wired only, north facing, and the modding community is huge. the Epomaker TH80 Pro also fits what you're after and people have fewer complaints. both let you swap switches without soldering.

I've been using my rk68 since 2021... Guess I'll go take the battery out to avoid any potential dangers
