There are some "browser-based" drivers that have custom extensions but they have the same shortcomings as proprietary drivers. They're not VIAL or even VIA

Are these good keyboards ?
No, they are bottom of the line boards with proprietary firmware and no virtues whatsoever. Get this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/RK-ROYAL-KLUDGE-Mechanical-Ultra-Compact/dp/B089GN2KBT It's not a premium board, but it has QMK firmware, which also not only makes it the most adaptable board in the pr

GF and I (26M/F) got into a huge fight over a keyboard. Thinking about ending things based on her behavior
This. I got a mechanical keyboard secondhand from my elder sister, a Royal Kludge keyboard. It's considered a budget mechanical keyboard (but still quite expensive for me imo), so it's not the best. It's seen better days, but when a key suddenly stopped working, I just changed the switches to fix it

Rebuilding after years. Are Peripherals cheaper + better?
The price of peripherals, for the same quality, is definitely lower now. A Keychron or Royal Kludge keyboard, HyperX Solocast or Elgato Wave 3 for the mic, and Logitech G305 or Attack Shark for the mouse are all great options without breaking the bank. GOXLR is still great, but most people just use

Adaptor for custom keycaps?
I know people suggest 3D print adapters, but honestly it's much easier to just buy a mechanical keyboard. Good mechanical keyboards are quite cheap these days. I would return the keycaps and just get a mechanical keyboard instead. Look up Epomaker, Ajazz, Royal Kludge, Yunzii......etc from Amazon.

Got this for 12 dollars
I mean it's $12. It's a $50 keyboard new from Royal Kludge. I'd say that's a deal. Or are you talking something else?

[Review] Royal Kludge C98 HE Review — Budget Hall Effect in an 1800 Layout
[RK Sent me the board for me to build and review. They had no foreknowledge of what I would say] I’ve been spending some time with the Royal Kludge C98 HE, and I think this is an interesting board because it sits in a space we are probably going to see a lot more of: budget Hall Effect keyboards tha

First mechanical keyboard - Keychron Q6 max with Keychron doubleshot PBT keycaps, kailh silent pro 2 whales. How did I do?
I really like the way the Gateron Xero Degree 'silent' switches sound in my Q1. And the Wuque Studio Morandis. In terms of what you should get next... try one of the better budget ones as well. Like the Kisnt KN85, Aula F75, iLovBee B87, or Royal Kludge R65. Or maybe a JamesDonkey. I think some of t

what is the best keyboard to give to a gamer/IT student that’s less than ₱2k?
Try mechanical keyboards from Redragon or Royal Kludge. Meron sa shopee and physical stores like Datablitz.
