why I Switch from rmpp to Kindle Scribe

You want the ReMarkable to do what it wasn't really intended to do well, so you switched to a device that is intended to do that thing well. Yeah, I can see how that's a wise decision. I do think the Kindle is superior, but this is a weird point to try to make.

Should I return the RM2 in hopes of the Paper Pure?

The writing feel of the Pure will be different from the rM2. If you can try out writing on a Paper Pro or Paper Pro Move at Best Buy, that's what the Pure will feel like. If you paid full price for the rM2, you might consider returning it and go for a refurb from reMarkable for $80 off compared to n

I would not purchase a reMarkable tablet again

If you don't need color, it looks like reMarkable likely has another device coming out this year. I have every reMarkable, the Paper Pro and Move are the best ones.

The Ideal Remarkable Tablet

I agree considering that the other e-ink devices are starting to following with subscription based model. With rising cost and remarkable showing 1.2 million Connect subscriptions, we may see more of this. Recently, iFLYTEK has introduced a tiered subscription model for its ecosystem, most notably f

Thinking about getting my first reMarkable Tablet

The Pure is better than the rM2 in every way, so I would get that if that's what you're looking at. But otherwise, I would recommend getting an Android device if you don't need color. They're so much more versatile and you'll be able to so many more apps for school. I only stuck with reMarkable beca

Organisation

I'm planning to begin compiling my documents (both handwritten and printed) into a physical binder. At the same time, I intend to make digital copies of my traditional drawings and notes. Through this, I hope to lower the risk of losing a good chunk of my work if my apartment burns down or my comput

Remarkable Paper Pure

If I was in the market for a new ReMarkable, and considering the Pure, I would only get it because I either never had an RM2 or RMPP, or my RM2 was broken. I have both the RM2 and RMPP, and I really see no compelling reason to upgrade to the Pure, especially since I prefer the EMR writing experience

The Ideal Remarkable Tablet

Digital games are different as there's no physical product being sold. ReMarkable has to actually manufacture these products (which costs them more money per unit than a computer file), and they're relatively niche so of course they're gonna be expensive. Then on top of selling hardware, they have t

Would you switch from Pro to Pure?

Would I be crazy to switch from Pro to Pure? Probably? Unless you have the money to spare. The Pro is a significant upgrade over the Pure. The Pure could best be described as a whole refresh of the RM2, it's the same size, uses the same screen tech, and has a better processor. It is also supposedly

Is it worth buying?

Just a question. Since 2017, I have a RM1 and it’s still functioning with updates in 2026 and some folks are still using theirs daily. A different brand device in 2017, is it still functioning and updating now? Then they said RM1 was expensive at about £500. The other brands were about £300 to £400,
