The Pure is better than the rM2 in every way, so I would get that if that's what you're looking at. But otherwise, I would recommend getting an Android device if you don't need color. For a small device, I would recommend the reMarkable Paper Pro Move. However, the closed system is an issue. Other than that, I think it is a very good device. If you want the other third party app to use the Boox has android system, which might be better.
