My viper 8k scroll wheel got messed up. I think that type or scroll wheel is bad on a hardware level. But my basilisk v3 pro is perfect, along with the huntsman v2 tkl. I think razer should stop skimping on their QA

Three brand new viper 8khz sensor broken.
One mouse didnt work on any surface besides clothes, even with multiple computers and with/without synapse. (Old viper worked fine). Second one worked on no surfaces. To your point though, I didnt notice the printing on the bottom of the mouse was vastly different from my old viper 8kHz I bought at

How is Razer Build Quality in 2025?
Had a Taipan a few years back. Its braided cable got "shredded" over time by the rough surface of the rough/smooth, two-sided Razer mousepad I was using. Well... the braiding did, not the cable itself, IIRC. Plus its LMB gave up the ghost after, maybe, two or three years. Build-quality wise it felt

Side note: Since I wrote that post, that Viper 8K had to make room for a new mouse because the wheel's "rubber-banding"-issue had become real bad. For all I know, the rest of the mouse is still in perfect shape, but with that issue it had become unusable both in Windows and in games. Not sure what s
