Unless it's a wireless mouse. Get a razer cobra. It's super lightweight, has tasteful rgb and comes with razers gen3 optical switches which you will find in their top of the line mice.

Synapse kiilled my razer cobra aswell. But i bought thse same one again because optical switches at a highly affordable price and lightweight. Used the newest version of synapse out of the box and it seems to work. (I had to install some version of synapse anyway for my barracuda headphones)

For your use, I would lean Razer Basilisk V3 wired over Razer Cobra wired, tbh. I went through a similar overthinking loop on mice, and if weight and max DPI do not matter, comfort and switch feel end up mattering more for daily use.
