If you are considering buying a Razer laptop this year…
I have my blade 16 from 2023 4090 and runs like new no issues, I have it plugged in 90% of time with battery charge to 70% max, added with Razer cooling fan I keep temps very low and dust out of the laptop this keeps battery and internal components in good condition so you might need to consider bab

School & Gaming Laptop (preferably a budget one)
Since you never gave a budget I'm assuming you have no budget. So in that case I recommend a dell 16 premium with the Intel core ultra 9 285H, rtx 5070, 64gb of ram, 4tb of storage, with the OLED 120hz screen. It's an easy $5,135. Should work great for your non disclosed budget. If you prefer someth

Razer Blade 16 vs Alienware 18
For the past 15 years, I have owned nothing but Alienware. I just got the Razer Blade 15 2025. No way in heck is the Alienware gonna run cooler, not even in its bigger 18 inch chassis even when compared with the Razer Blade 16. AMD CPUs will run 20-30% cooler, I stopped taking anything you say serio

Razer Blade 16 (2026)
I have used mine a solid 3 plus weeks now and dropped my review last week. Mine has been flawless. amazing battery, no trackpad issues and solid gaming. Synapse has been ok as far as synapse goes, no bugs but occasional slow loading. I had one bug that locked the cpu at .4ghz after hibernation but t

Razer Synapse Alternative (Looking for Devs)
I currently use RazerCTL on my Blade 16 2023 and it frees up more performance that Synapse otherwise restricts. Your work will make so many people happy!

Gamers in here
If you have a pc the correct option is laptop.... At least an rtx 3080. I had a gtx 1070 did 70-100 fps on metro exodus max settings running 1080p res. So if you'd like an amazing experience a 3080 laptop might be the ticket. Or newer 4070. 5070. Laptops. I have an rtx 4090 laptop and love it. [Raze

Best Laptop Under $3000 for Mechanical Engineering (CAD, SolidWorks, Simulations)
I would recommend a couple of options. For all of these, you likely won’t need to upgrade during the course of your degree. At the really high end, a zephyrus G14 or G16 is the best of the best. Great hardware, and amazing thin and light build quality. Run you about 3000. If money is no object, this

Ordered it, should be here Monday -- 2026 blade 16, 5090, 64 g, intel 9 386h
Ah, got it. I travel with my Blade 18 and MBP 16" (sometimes together) so I guess I'm used to the weight/size but I can see how the new Blade is an upgrade over your old one. You'll have to give us an update on the battery life when you get it. Keep this configuration in mind! lol - Results per Raze

Looking for a Gaming Laptop with the best possible battery life
There are some that you can move into different modes to get longer battery life but it would hinder performance and refresh rate, depending what you’re doing. Using economic and power saving settings on the ASUS G16 Zephyrus get somewhere between 7-8 hours of battery life. https://www.bestbuy.com/p
