Advice on the Q2

I am still about to buy my first printer. I only used printer in classes or at a friend. If you want the most ease of use, choose Bambu Lab, but you will also receive the most locked down 3D printer and technically a spyware. Think like this... If it's too good to be true and isn't, YOU are the prod

I've got 3D printer money right now.!

I own a Prusa (Core One L) and am quite happy with it. Someone will be around shortly to recommend a Bambulab A1. Note that once you step into multi-color or multi-material, single toolhead/nozzle printers waste a LOT of filament, often more than what's used for the printed object(s) in color change

Little lost in the world of 3d printers

Consider your REAL budget, as well as the size of things you intend to print. PLA and PETG are relatively easy but going beyond those an enclosure can be beneficial along with filters and/or ventilation. A majority of the mid-range printers (I would go with a CoreXY printer over a bed-slinger today

Upgrade just for enclosure?

Most printers that include enclosures also have carbon and particulate filters, fans and temperature sensors/controls to better monitor and control the temperature, AND minimize (but not eliminate) odors from printing ASA or ABS. Most lower end models use the heat from the print bed to provide the h

A1 Vs Centauri Carbon (v1+2) (first)

As an aside, most of my research tells me that basically nearly every 3d printer consumer product company is terrible at providing any kind of support for broken equipment, and software support, like desktop PCs, is being privatised.) updated your statement a bit. Individualized support is expensive

Before I buy... Am I overestimating the P1S's capabilities? Printing inline skate parts.

Yowzer, thanks for the feedback guys. I'm not hearing much support for being able to print PA (which Bambu lists the P1S as being 'capable' of doing) or even ABS/ASA (which it says are 'ideal') without some additional 3rd party upgrades, let alone the GF/CF variants. I was under the impression that

Prusa Support is leaving me with the bill for a defective Core One

Elegoo has been pretty good to me, so has Sovol. I do 3d printer repair as a service, they aren't the fastest but they will get you pointed in the right direction. In the beginning I just used them to confirm issues, like when something was behaving totally weirdly, I would be like hey, I think the
