Is a lightly used Flashforge Adventure 5M worth $100-150? Bambu user looking to branch out.
I got mine for $130 on FB marketplace. It turned out it had never been taken out of the box. The printer is fantastic. Not as good as a Qidi Q1 Pro ($450), but prints nearly as well at 1/4 of the cost.

PSA: I sued Glowforge and won. Glowforge is refusing to pay the judgment.
I've not ever had a Bambu Labs printer. I bought a Qidi Q1 Pro for less than $400 and it prints great OTB. It has heated chamber etc. looks a little toyish I guess but it prints great. Bambu Labs isn't the only quality 3D printers out there.

Help choosing a printer. Used or new, large or small?
I’d take either the new sv08 or the new QIDI q1 pro. I love my sv08 and it prints amazing with some upgrades. I’ve also heard good things about the QIDI.

Those are bridges over no supports for 2 layers. It's PETG, and I was using the 0.4mm nozzle that I don't have dialed in as well because I usually print with my 0.8mm nozzle. But, to be fair to the AD5M, the test print in PLA on the Qidi Q1 Pro looked almost exactly like this. It's just cosmetic and

$600 Budget. Qidi vs Bambu
I went for the qidi q1 pro. For $400 I'm very impressed. It's handled everything I've thrown at it and user error aside I've had nothing but great prints with every material I've used.

What is your favorite filament brand and type?
Personally I love Elegoo's PLA Plus. It has good prices and works very well on my Qidi Q1 Pro!
