Qidi Q1 Pro owner here. I can’t really agree it’s a great printer — but it’s 100% worth the money, especially considering there’s no real competition at this price point yet. Quality-wise, though, it’s classic Chinese roulette: poor QC, the cheapest components possible. Still, at this price, I’m wil

PSA: I sued Glowforge and won. Glowforge is refusing to pay the judgment.

I've not ever had a Bambu Labs printer. I bought a Qidi Q1 Pro for less than $400 and it prints great OTB. It has heated chamber etc. looks a little toyish I guess but it prints great. Bambu Labs isn't the only quality 3D printers out there.

It is #FreeCADFriday! You know the drill...show us what you're working on that is FreeCAD related. (We 🫶 screenshots)

Those are bridges over no supports for 2 layers. It's PETG, and I was using the 0.4mm nozzle that I don't have dialed in as well because I usually print with my 0.8mm nozzle. But, to be fair to the AD5M, the test print in PLA on the Qidi Q1 Pro looked almost exactly like this. It's just cosmetic and

Welcher drucker? elegoo centauri Carbon vs bambulab ps1 vs anycubic Cobra1 vs quidi tech q2/pro q1

Qidi Q1 Pro holder for TPU spool

I tried printing from a dry box (also my own design: https://www.printables.com/model/1380345-filament-box-with-dry-system-for-qidi-q1-pro) several times - the filament is fed through a small section of tube, which causes additional friction. But I still tend to think that retractions should have be

Convince me to buy or not to buy the Q2 (combo)

What I've noticed from qidi. They make customers beta test their products. And they refine it I saw this w the qidi q1 pro. The v1 was a disaster . No ethernet port. Needed fine tuning . And a year later. The v2 came out w the ethernet port and it got better I believe the qidi q2 is a q1 pro + plus

Calling all Bambu X2D/H2D/H2C owners:

I started on the enders as well, and I lasted needed something a little more reliable and capable, so I went for a Qidi Q1 Pro and an SV08. the Q1P was great: reliable, capable, but rough around the edges and not as refined. the SV08 was a tinkerers machine and I spent a lot of time messing with it.

100% noob, interested to buy a 3d printer

~256 mm is usually the max you get from a decently priced printer and you step into more expensive niche 300 mm printers. If you want it to be as simple as possible Bambu A1 - cheap, high quality, easy to use. For tall thin walled prints CoreXY might make more sense - P1S or QIDI Q1 Pro for more adv

Looking for Advice

Really? That's your only advice to a specific question that OP asked? My A1 Combo is a great printer, but it has had its own headaches (I had to stop using it for a couple of weeks after first getting it due to a recall, and there is a new current/heat issue with the newer A1 printers). I have frien

Best mid tier 3D printer

I had really good experience with my qidi q1 pro bought it for a steal used with a few months of guarantee left 2 hot ends and a few pei sheets for 150€. But they are sold at under 400 new so yeah. Qidi is unfortunately great hardware and beta software so you should never buy their stuff fresh after
