I've not ever had a Bambu Labs printer. I bought a Qidi Q1 Pro for less than $400 and it prints great OTB. It has heated chamber etc. looks a little toyish I guess but it prints great. Bambu Labs isn't the only quality 3D printers out there.

And a year later. The v2 came out w the ethernet port and it got better I believe the qidi q2 is a q1 pro + plus

I started on the enders as well, and I lasted needed something a little more reliable and capable, so I went for a Qidi Q1 Pro and an SV08. the Q1P was great: reliable, capable, but rough around the edges and not as refined. the SV08 was a tinkerers machine and I spent a lot of time messing with it.

Initially - I bought a refurbed Anycubic Mono M5s Pro, resin leak newb error, they wanted parts shipped from China and tariffs were in full effect so it wasn’t worth repairing. ASA is superior to ABS in every way (+ UV and water resistant). However, for large parts - they both will tend to warp. You might want to have a heated chamber (both CC and P1S have it passive). QIDI Q1 Pro has the cheapest chamber at $400, and Q2 is a newer bigger better brother for $500. A heated
