Printer Recommendation Beginner
I would strongly recommend an enclosed core x/y printer versus a bed slinger. Check these out; Bambu P1S Combo Bambu P2S Combo Bambu X2D Combo Qidi Q2 Combo Qidi Plus4 Combo Elegoo CC Elegoo CC2 FlashForge AD5X Anycubic Kobra S1 Combo Anycubic Korba S1 Max Sovol SV08 (Add open source multi color of

Qidi plus 4 upgrade?
I like my Qidi plus 4, I have three of them, but I’ve had to make a few upgrades. (Swap stock hotend, upgrade mainboard fan due to MCU timeout, SSH into the printer to modify a few things, heat sink shield to combat heat creep). These aren’t difficult things to do, and I like that it runs on Klipper

Plus 4 with the Qidi Box
I recently acquired a used plus 4 that had the Qidi box with it. The guy couldn’t get it to work. He said the Qidi box needed tinkering etc. I got the Qidi plus 4 with 3 new plates, and a few spare parts along with Qidi box and 8-9kg Qidi branded abs for $200. I wanted to tinker and learn more about

3D Printing parts question
For "functional" parts you want an FDM (fused deposition modeling) printer. Resin prints are generally weaker and print volumes are usually much smaller. I'd suggest at least a 250x250x250mm build volume, but I suspect some parts will want something even larger. You'll need something that can handle

Best 3D printers I can get with $500
If you’re looking for a bang-for-the-buck option it’s really hard to beat the Qidi Q2. It will print almost any filament you throw at it so you can grow and explore different filaments without having to upgrade later. I personally have a Qidi Max 4 that I’m having great success with, but it’s almost

Kaufberatung für Anfänger
Honestly, if you want: large build volume relatively low maintenance easy printing and an open ecosystem then every option will involve some compromise. K1 Max: very fast and relatively mature now, but still a Creality machine — sometimes great, sometimes frustrating. Good if you like tinkering a li

Bambu vs. Elegoo
As you said - you have a print farm. Qidi Max 4 is the only thing more from that lineup that has better engineering capabilities than CC with chamber heater. Qidi Plus 4 is totally different printer and it's on par with CC with printing PPS. So looking from the hobby perspective - you have cheap, st

Qidi plus 4 upgrade?
Been printing since 2018. Upgraded and love my plus 4. I bought on day one and it needed a lot of support but qidi is good about replacing parts. I believe any plus 4 from them comes upgraded from the factory now. So it should be a better experience then I had. My petg prints come out perfectly. Doe

P2S Buyers: It’s okay. I understand the pain.
Literally just bought my wife a P1S a few months ago at usd $500. We had quit for quite some time because we used to run a small print farm on Wanhao(microcenter) I3 clones for our etsy shop and it ran us into the ground on those old machines. When I got my Qidi Plus4 so I could use engineering fila

Goodbye p2s
Yep I understand this but it has it's uses. PPS is great at 370 degrees, something a cheaper qidi q2 can do but not a H2 printer???? https://www.fabbaloo.com/news/reports-emerge-of-fires-caused-by-qidi-plus-4-3d-printer And maybe there is a reason bambu limits the max temp on a consumer grade machin
