Considering the Max4, never had a Qidi. What should I know before ordering?

What you should know: Qidi support is excellent at helping you fix problems yourself and shipping parts to you, but they are extremely, extremely, extremely reluctant to accept returns. If you need a return, good luck. A lot of folks recommend buying Qidi printers from Amazon for this reason, becaus

Which 3D Printer to buy in 2026 ?

Depends on what your goals are. Personally I think the 40-second switching time of the H2C makes it a poor choice for anyone who doesn't need 8+ different materials in one print. If 4 is enough then the Snapmaker U1 is a wildly better value. If you need a big enclosed machine that only occasionally

Cancelled Max 4 Preorder

Nope. If you want a guarantee of fewer issues, don't preorder. The Q2 definitely had fewer issues than the Plus4 and we can hope the Max4 will continue the trend, However, a bigger printer generally means more room for problems. Unless you absolutely need the volume right now, just give it a little

Calling all Bambu X2D/H2D/H2C owners:

I won’t speak to the AGPL issue since that has been discussed at length and I have nothing further to add. But I can say that I currently own an H2C, Qidi Max 4, Qidi Plus 4, and Bambu P1S so I’ll offer my insights on the machines themselves. I can honestly say that the H2C isn’t worth the price in

Best multi head printer vs AMS system in 2026?

Depends on your balance of needs with regards to multicolor, size, and materials compatibility. If you intend to do a ton of multicolor printing with four colors or less, then a toolchanger like the Snapmaker U1 or maybe the upcoming Creator 5 is the best value for you. If you intend to print with 8

Legit CC2 review please?

Errm? It has AC heated bed - almost 1kW heater. It's insulation is shite, but I just described what I do if I want to print ABS... It's the same system which is in X1C for example. I live in Ireland. I heard there is some bright light above, but our sky is gray with sometimes getting whiter. I have

H2S or K2 Plus?

I swapped my K2P for an H2S. K2P advantages: quieter motion system especially Y axis, 350x350 is noticeably larger than 340x320. H2S advantages: way more consistent first layer performance, quick-swap nozzles, AMS doesn't make a loud CHUNK sound every three seconds while printing. The new Qidi Max4

Honest assessment on purchasing a qidi max4 or Bambu Labs H2C

For 2 filaments specifically - H2D should be the sweet spot. A double nozzle is a big difference, especially if you compare it to a QIDI Box that isn't that great (in my experience). H2D/C is better than max4 (double the price also) - but QIDI with Klipper has some ways to ensure higher precision.

Backup printer recommendations?

Have a look into newest generation of qidi printers. $$ to spec value they are pretty hard to beat. Have chamber heater and print abs/asa/engineering materials without fuss. I print a lot of pc-abs, plus 4 is my go to printer for it. I have a plus 4 - 300mm bed. Earlier batches had some issues, seem
