Calling all Bambu X2D/H2D/H2C owners:

I won’t speak to the AGPL issue since that has been discussed at length and I have nothing further to add. But I can say that I currently own an H2C, Qidi Max 4, Qidi Plus 4, and Bambu P1S so I’ll offer my insights on the machines themselves. I can honestly say that the H2C isn’t worth the price in

Considering the QIDI Q2

I’m about to pull the trigger on a qidi. Either the q2 or max4. For me it comes down to engineering filaments > QIDI, or multicolors > Bambu.

Legit CC2 review please?

Errm? It has AC heated bed - almost 1kW heater. It's insulation is shite, but I just described what I do if I want to print ABS... It's the same system which is in X1C for example. I live in Ireland. I heard there is some bright light above, but our sky is gray with sometimes getting whiter. I have

Max 4 in lieu of Core 1 L?

My Plus 4 has hands down been the most beastly engineering filament printer I've ever come across or used. Imo there is NOTHING that comes close to the performance even for multiple more money. It is a better industrial spec printer than industrial spec printers🤣 absolute beast , And Qidi has been o

Backup printer recommendations?

Have a look into newest generation of qidi printers. $$ to spec value they are pretty hard to beat. Have chamber heater and print abs/asa/engineering materials without fuss. I print a lot of pc-abs, plus 4 is my go to printer for it. I have a plus 4 - 300mm bed. Earlier batches had some issues, seem

Printer Upgrade Recommendations

I recently purchased the Qidi Max 4 and it definitely meets all of those requirements at an AMAZING price point! It’s a little less polished than the Bambu ecosystem, but it’s not far off. And while you don’t NEED to tinker with it, there’s also very little stopping you from doing so, unlike Bambu’s

Asking for advice for a new printer

For the money I would be getting a U1 for multicolor and something like a QIDI Max 4 for the engineering materials/larger prints. It's slightly more money, but infinitely better in multicolor, engineering materials, and you can have both churning out parts at the same time. Plus you don't get screwe

Newcomer tips, just bought the Max 4

Best advice is can give is Qidi Studio now has the option to enable advanced mode which turns on Fluid interface on the Device Tab. This is done when you add the printer to the slicer. Its easy to miss. Oh and add new filaments as Qidi, not generic, even if the brand is not Qidi. The printer and sli

Recommendations on printers ~12'' print area

3d printing is inherently weaker than injection molded, so you'll want to be able to use all the engineering materials. I'd look at Qidi: https://us.qidi3d.com/products/max4 Siraya Tech's great for engineering filament that doesn't break the bank: https://www.amazon.com/Siraya-Tech-Fibreheart-Printi

Looking at Qidi for building robots. What printers do you recommend?

Q2 if the size works for you. Max 4 if you need an absolute unit of a build volume, but that's not a proven machine like the Q2 is. So far, Q2 generally has no major problems that anyone's found in six months. It has minor, correctible issues. Mostly, lid too short -> print a riser or get the combo
