Considering the Max4, never had a Qidi. What should I know before ordering?
What you should know: Qidi support is excellent at helping you fix problems yourself and shipping parts to you, but they are extremely, extremely, extremely reluctant to accept returns. If you need a return, good luck. A lot of folks recommend buying Qidi printers from Amazon for this reason, becaus

K2 Pro with CFS vs other options in this range, which direction makes more sense?
My first core xy printer was the Creality K2 plus. I put 3k hours on it before I sold it but in comparison to the printers I got afterwards it was the worst experience. I had to deal with Crealitys warranty dept numerous times and it was a horrible experience. The quality of my prints with it were o

Max 4 in lieu of Core 1 L?
My Plus 4 has hands down been the most beastly engineering filament printer I've ever come across or used. Imo there is NOTHING that comes close to the performance even for multiple more money. It is a better industrial spec printer than industrial spec printers🤣 absolute beast , And Qidi has been o

Core XY Open Source Printer other than Prusa?
Understandable, people tend to have more.. hyperbolic reactions regarding Chinese companies. Just to add a bit to the other side of the story:Their design is not more dangerous than other printers. I do think the chamber heater SSR board of the Plus4 is badly designed, especially when it comes to th

Honest assessment on purchasing a qidi max4 or Bambu Labs H2C
For 2 filaments specifically - H2D should be the sweet spot. A double nozzle is a big difference, especially if you compare it to a QIDI Box that isn't that great (in my experience). H2D/C is better than max4 (double the price also) - but QIDI with Klipper has some ways to ensure higher precision.

We can do that and I will help as much as I can. Another user, u/riba2233 has already created r/QIDI_Max4 and it's starting to get some traction. It's possible that we can just post there but let me know if you create another page. Congrats on the shipping, get ready, the box it comes in is pretty l

Backup printer recommendations?
Have a look into newest generation of qidi printers. $$ to spec value they are pretty hard to beat. Have chamber heater and print abs/asa/engineering materials without fuss. I print a lot of pc-abs, plus 4 is my go to printer for it. I have a plus 4 - 300mm bed. Earlier batches had some issues, seem

Printer Upgrade Recommendations
I recently purchased the Qidi Max 4 and it definitely meets all of those requirements at an AMAZING price point! It’s a little less polished than the Bambu ecosystem, but it’s not far off. And while you don’t NEED to tinker with it, there’s also very little stopping you from doing so, unlike Bambu’s

Bambulab vs qidi what one is plug in and play?
None of those QIDI models are PNP but the newest models, Q2 and the Max4 printers are definitely PNP. QIDI really stepped up their game with quality and polish, now if they could just do the same for the BOX 😆😬

Looking into the K2 Plus as an upgrade from a Neptune 4 Pro how has it been for long term use
It's leagues beyond your old Neptune but it's definitely on the "fiddle with it" side of the reliability curve for modern printers. Have a look at the Creality and K2 Plus subreddits to see what I mean. Taco beds, broken extruders, etc. I returned mine after a few weeks of wildly inconsistent first
