New hifi system

I’m assuming you’re still going to use 2:1. I agree with the comments below that Wiim amp ultra will work for the main component, assuming the price is the same as in the States. That’ll leave you about €1000 left. I’ve always been happy with Polk speakers. Reserve R-100 bookshelf speakers and a Pol

Bose Sound System

It's as good as the Revel audio in my Lincoln. Not as good as my Polk Reserve series home stereo. I recommend Spotify on max quality settings.

Floor Speaker Upgrade

Reserve series. R600 come in around $900. Can even get a subwoofer with the money left over like Kanto, Dayton or even a Polk sub like a PSW10. Never owned these models, but have loved every Polk speaker I’ve ever owned. I think you’d love an R600/PSW10 combination in an 2:1 set-up. Other than Vande

Some of these speakers have comparable larger models, so look at those, too. For example, Wharfedale Diamond 12.2 and 12.3. I like the Polk Reserve R100 and R200 bookshelf speakers, and the R500 and R600 towers.

Center Channel Upgrade

You can EQ a q6 meta to match anything that isn't a naturally shrill or bright speaker. I had no issues tweaking mine in Dirac to match my Polk Reserves. There wasn't much difference in their in room response until their very high end roll off.

Are these speakers worth it?

Nothing better for an active/“wireless” speaker. But passive you could get some better speakers by Elac, possibly Polk reserve* (on sale) If it’s a desktop setup these are perfect but ironically the wireless becomes less of an advantage. For a living room it’s what do you value most, convenience/pri

I live very close to a high-end audio store, and I want to cry.

You don't need to spend more than $500 Plenty of nice sounding speakers Martin Logan, Emotiva, Polk Reserve, Triangle Borea etc. Check out accessories4less.net / slickdeals / eBay / Amazon / Best Buy open box / FB marketplace etc. for deals. Amps -> Fosi / SMSL / Aiyma / Cambridge Audio
