Sure there are. Wired ones. Ideally with a detachable cord. If you want to be aware of your surroundings, get some open back ones. I have a bunch of different phones, but my favorite affordable open-backed ones are the Philips SHP9500 which you can find for about $80 online. Super comfortable, accur

Agreed, these Yamaha MT5s would be in the same range as an Audio-Technica ATH-M50x if i'm not mistaken (and im sure the the audio technicas would have the same headband problem after a few years as well). I haven't yet dabbled in more high-end stuff, but i'm sure you pay for more quality in terms of

Never really bought anything pretty expensive but the ones I tried didn’t really last that long. Moondrop Chu 2 - a few months (never buying anything from Moondrop again) Etymotic HF3 - 2 years Simgot EW300 DSP (current) - a few months. Hopefully it doesn’t break soon. I only recently found out that

While not as cute or stylish as I'd like I've been using the Philips shp9500 for 5 years now. For the price they punch way above their weight in audio quality, comfort, and durability. I run mine with a ~$20 digital DAC amp so I can also connect my mic but I have a friend who uses a audio cord with

None, wired open back studio headphones would set you for life. Some notable ones and will be cheaper than the headsets you stated above are: Drop PC38x DT990 Pro (80 ohm) Philips Shp9500/9600 If you need a mic then maybe even that new ROG Kithara x HiFiman might be worthwhile.

Philips shp-9500 are $40 - $60 and have a removable cable. They'll last forever and a replacement cable is $7 if you ever need it. Take it from someone that has had more than 5 pairs of headphones. You dont have to spend a lot to get a lot with headphones. Edit - Just for reference ive had Philips s
