I swear there was a recent post with link to internal presentation of new travel line
I’ll probably do what I do with many peak design bags. Buy it, try to convince myself that it’s better than my current backpack, realize it isn’t, be in denial, accept it, miss the return window, keep in on a shelf for years. Rinse repeat. To be fair, this has only happened with my 20L EDB and 25L O

3L sling inside the 30L everyday backpack? Photos?
It really depends, this used to be my setup with a Nikon D800 with the large FF F2.8 lenses. I’ve since switched to Fuji (XH-2S and x100vi) and pack way less stuff. With how restrictive air travel is these days I can’t really “afford” to use my carry on allocation strictly for camera gear. I prefer

Advice on camera bag for 35 mm?
Just a note on Peak Design bags that I really dislike them. The walls are so stiff that the sides don't open well enough to actually access your gear while it's still on your shoulder (a big selling point of their bag), I find all the pockets hard to use and access, and it's like, simultaneously way

Any thoughts on backpacks for photographers?
I’ve used various lowepro bags for three decades and mostly liked them all; various sizes. Comfortable and rugged, I’ve brought them all over the world. I tried a peak design bag two years ago and was grateful I could return it. Should have called it “sweaty back” or “crap design” as it was not some

Cotopaxi Allpa 26L versus alternatives? Or significant reasons *not* to get it?
Amazing review. I’m surprised the 18L is big enough. I ordered a 20L and I’m returning it because they have better bags with more features (2 water bottle pockets, luggage pass through etc) for the same price. I’m going to the store today and I think it will be between the 18 and 26 for me. The 18 s

Switched Everyday Backpack 20L to Outdoor 25L: Summary of 3 Intense Months
Thanks for sharing, this confirms my worries and why I didn’t buy it. I also use the original kickstarter 2016 Everyday 20L, for travel, hikes, etc. It’s been my one and only bag and still is today. 20 mile hikes all over the world with it are fine, but the straps are pretty bad compared to a solid

Official Gear Purchasing and Troubleshooting Question Thread! Ask /r/photography anything you want to know! January 23, 2026
Hi! I am looking for some help with choosing a backpack which is lightweight for a small camera setup. Ideally something comfortable for longer walks. Gear: - Sony a7C II - Sony 24-50mm f2.8 - DJI Mini 3 Fly More Future: possibly 1-2 additional prime lenses (small and probably not all carried at onc

Any thoughts on backpacks for photographers?
For me, Two fair sized cameras, three lenses (including one about 70-300mm size) and miscellaneous stuff take up a thirty Litre Peak Design everyday bag. Peak design bags don’t exactly the most efficient bags (in my opinion) but I think you’ll need something bigger. Honestly I would either get him a
