Is a Osprey Farpoint 40L + Patagonia Black Hole Mini MLC suitable for 4 weeks in Japan/Indonesia?
Three different backpacks would be too much for me, and I wouldn’t choose a large clamshell backpack like Patagonia BH Mini MLC for a day backpack. My recommendation would be to stick to a regular, around 8-20L backpack or a sling for everyday carry. I’d try to make either of these bags work for the

Looking for this CAYL fanny pack (b-grid) / beige
I want that bag to work for me so fuckkkinnnggg bad, ordered both the bathroom and kitchen to compare…. Just a hair to big for a one pack travel on budget airlines. Ended up going with the Patagonia MLC Mini + MLC 45 L system. But boy do I wish.

The 26+6 Problem: Too Much Bag for Too Little Weight
Have you check out the Cabin Fly Bellanca? I recently purchased on from Amazon they have 2 versions one is an expandable backpack which is a 16 x 12 x 4 and expands to 16 x 12 x 6, the other is simply 16 x 12 x 6 both sizes work well for most Asian and European budget airlines. Quality of materials

Backpack recommendations for 3-month Southeast Asia trip
I’m going to be the outlier here. This is going to be a very unpopular opinion. I have the 40L osprey, i also have the 28L cotopaxi, the 35l cotopaxi, and the patagonia mlc. I used them all for a trip or two trying to find the perfect bag. I ALSO have a gregory jade 38L hiking backpack with a front

Can anyone recommend something similar to the fjallraven Farden Carry-on thats around 25L? Looking for new edc bag.
Patagonia Black Hole Mini MLC is 30 L, has clamshell opening and a separate laptop compartment. But it's still too big for EDC. Aer Pro Pack 24 L — clamshell, separate laptop compartment, but no outside lash points.

Backpack recommendations for 3-month Southeast Asia trip (limited access to try packs in person)
The 26+6 is ok, but it’s not truly 30L when open, and it also looks like a child’s backpack with a weird shape when fully open. OP: Patagonia MLC, Goruck GR1, Evergoods MPL

How many “onebags” do you own?
Not enough… 🤡 Cotopaxi Tasra 16L (new version): I didn’t mean to buy the new version. Más Vida (Cotopaxi’s used goods portal) had a pic of the old version of the Tasra so I bought it. For a split second, I was very disappointed when I opened my package, but then my brain processed the color way and

Bag Finder Megathread - 22 September 2025
Hi all,I’m moving from Central Europe to Australia later this year (~2 years). My current CabinZero ADV Pro 32 is starting to tear up, doesn’t fit my 16" MacBook Pro, has only one small non-stretch bottle pocket, and feels front-heavy with the laptop—also too small. Besides what's mentioned below, I
