Black Hole Mini MLC

I tend to buy brands I know and trust. My hiking pack is an Osprey and I love it and it wears like iron. So it was a no brainer to go with them for my smaller travel bag (26+6.) I also have an original, first run, twenty something year old Patagonia MLC as my bigger one bag option (45.) it’s my ride

I agree that the 35 feels closer to 40; and is pretty bulky on me. I have since swapped to a Patagonia MLC Mini (30L) and that has been a much better fit for me overall, though I do miss the outer pockets from the Allpa.

My wife got me a Patagonia black hole mini mlc 30L for my birthday last year and it is hands down the best backpack I’ve ever had. All black so it’s more low key looking than Cotopaxi. I bring it on all my work rotations and used it as my only bag for a 2 week trip to Japan last month. 10/10
