For context, wanted to share my experience with the osprey transporter 26+6 for other potential one bag users. Very impressed with the space and its possibility as a personal item.

I’m 4’11 and I like the Osprey Daylite 26+6 (17” height). Check out the Osprey Transporter 26+6 (16.9”), Bagsmart Blast 28L (16.5”), Kurt Essentials Everyday Backpack (17.5”), and Antler Discovery Backpack (17.7”)too.

Ok genuinely asking because I see this opinion all over in this sub- that the Osprey Daylite 26+6 is ugly and the new Osprey Transporter is good-looking. I have the exact opposite opinion and I feel crazy 😂I mean obviously different tastes exist (and isn’t that wonderful!), but I’m sincerely curious

I onebag the Osprey Transporter 26+6. That deeeep front pocket can hold a 2L to 3L Fanny pack. I fit the Osprey Daylite sling in there — it’s a tight fit! — but it won’t work well if the sling and the bag are full.

The Osprey Transporter 26+6 I’m onebagging through Germany and France with has been great thus far. I left all my stuff from inside the bag at the Airbnb and it became a great daybag. Here it is in Strassbourg and on the train to Freiburg.

For anyone interested: the Rucksack waist pack fits perfectly inside the front pocket of the Osprey Transporter 26+6. It’s great for quickly pulling out of your underseat personal item bag and having access to items during flights. The iron color looks great in person.

Same predicament and wishes as you. I narrowed it down to the Patagonia Black Hole Mini and the Osprey Transporter 26+6 I'm leaning towards the Osprey as it has a much better chance of fitting under the seat on an airplane.

I'm in the midst of my search for a travel bag. I purchased the Global Travel 27L bag, and I think it's almost there for my needs. I like it because: Enough compartments without it being too much Easy access compartments for small items Durable Soft shoulder and back padding Laptop compartment 25L s

You could also consider the new Osprey Transporter 26+6 - very cheap and also bought it as the availability of the almond oak v2 was too late for my trip
