Good 25–30L hiking daypack for rocky, uneven trails?

Osprey is hard to beat for comfort. Some bags have a frame, mesh back panel and plenty of other features to keep you comfortable. I’ve also heard good things about Gregory. But I own a a Stratos 24L and 36L bag and they are super comfortable and durable. I hike with them in Class II and Class III te

I’m looking for a new daypack

I love my Osprey Stratos 24, it’s fully framed and has a mesh that helps to ventilate air through your back.

How big of a pack is good for day hiking?

Ultimately it came down to three packs, and this one had a very good sale price. I carry a 2.5L water bladder and the side stretch pockets are large enough to add additional wate

Day pack recommendations?

I looked at and tried on the Talon but chose the Osprey Stratos 24 instead. Has a rigid frame and (at least for me) transfers weight to the hips much better while also keeping my back more ventilated.
