I love Osprey’s modular systems like farpoint/fairview. The versatility of being able to zip them up and check it as a larger piece or carry it on as a carry-on/hand luggage separately is great. One trip we packed our Deuter 50+10 into a large duffle style bag we bought from Ross. Then we donated the duffle. We ended up switching to the Osprey Farpoint/Fairview and can be carried on.
