Get by with Mini MLC or worth it to buy 40L?

I would not recommend that first bag for world travel style backpacking. The Arc'teryx bag is focused on big overnight wilderness camping style backpacking. You want to do city travel, right? osprey fairview 55L or 70L
I have the 55, I love it but it's only because it does such a good job for something I don't have to check. There are much more comfortable bags out there, if you remove that factor. Specifically the way it allocates the weight just isn't right. It makes total sense with the carry on requirement in
