Yeah, out of all the packs I tried with 30 lbs, the Osprey Atmos ag “felt” the lightest. I think part of it was how well it transferred weight to my hips.

That will work just fine. I used a 50L (Osprey Atmos 50) for my 3-Day in Dolly Sods, and it took some crafty packing. With a 60l you can just pack a tiny bit sloppier. Weight difference between a 50 and 60 would be negligible. And don't forget the excess can/will be tightened with the straps.

Are you ultralight or more traditional? Asking because different packs carry different weights. An osprey Atmos AG 50 carries heavier loads really well but weighs more than a minimal pack.
