Chair That Is Not Torture Device
Get a GOOD chair. Not saying this is the best chair for EDS people, but i got a real leather Noblechair-The Hero gamingchair a few months ago, which is adjustable in a lot of ways. The back angle, support pillow in the neck and lower back, you can adjust the armrests in multiple ways, i use a footre

I might need a backup option...
honestly i feel you on the waiting game, that's rough. when i had to sit for long stretches with similar muscle soreness, the Secretlab Titan Evo in softweave was a lifesaver - the memory foam in the base is legit thick. another one i've tried that surprised me is the Razer Enki - super wide and cus

XALLKING X5 Pro opinion
honestly i ran into this same thing when i was looking for a chair for 10hr days. the X5 Pro has mixed reviews on long session comfort tbh. at 168cm you're right that height isn't an issue, but the foam density matters more for butt pain. what helped me was going with a Noblechairs Hero ST because t

Gaming chair with similar shape as DPS Gaming chair but better build quality?
ngl the leather cracking on costco chairs is inevitable after a couple years. if you want that same DPS shape but better materials, look at the Noblechairs Epic or the Corsair T3 Rush. both have that snug hugging feel without being rock hard like secretlab. the t3 rush uses soft fabric and the foam

UK Based - best gaming chairs for around £200-300? Or less?
i feel you on not wanting to spend a ton. picked up a GTPlayer Gaming Chair last year for around £230 and honestly it's held up fine for my evening sessions. the lumbar support is decent for the price. another solid pick is Noblechairs Epic when it dips to £280. if you wanna go under £200, BraZen Ph

Recommendations?
i feel you on tailbone pain after long sessions. for $500 with headrest and armrests that recline, check the GTRACING Pro Series or Noblechairs Hero ST if you catch a sale. both have thick seat foam that helps your tailbone. i’ve sat 10 hours in the GTRACING without that soreness. the armrests move

Quersus VAOS 3 or a normal Office Chair?
i feel you on the butt pain after hours. being 6'3" and 250lbs really limits options. the Quersus VAOS 3 has decent specs but cold foam can still feel firm. for your height and weight i'd look at Anda Seat Kaiser 3 XL or Noblechairs Hero Series instead. both have taller backrests and wider seats rat

Are gaming chairs actually worth it, or just overhyped?
i ran into this last year. most gaming chairs are overhyped - stiff foam and fake leather that peels. but a few are legit. the key is looking for adjustable lumbar, breathable fabric, and dense foam that isn't rock hard. i ended up with a Razer Iskur because the lumbar actually moves with you. still

Anyone here using the Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 long-term?
i've had the titan evo for about 14 months now. honestly the firmness stays pretty stiff - some people love that support but if you're used to plush office chairs it might feel harsh after hour 5. no squeaking on mine yet though. the lumbar is solid but doesn't move much. i feel you on not wanting r
