New router options for SQM?
Not exactly, things would still work, you'll just have extremely limited upload speed. Main thing is, if you go thru the trouble of spending the money and setting it all up, it's a pretty big gamble that you won't benefit from doing so. If it was me, I would look for some kind of used router on eBay

Help with Orbi QoS/Prioritization
Those units have very limited/basic QoS, nothing like what you are looking for. It uses things like dynamic QoS and WMM for its QoS. It has no prioritization and no setting of specific bandwidth limits. The best you could do here, if you want that kind of QoS, is set your orbi into AP mode and get a
