Clicky vs HE?

I know that monsgeek is owned by akko. The OEM that produces the PCB for the m1 v5 TMR is a company called rongyuan, and their firmware suffers from many stability issues caused by poor input filtration. This is the same OEM that keyboards like the fun60 and some ace60 models use, and you can see th

Keyboard recommendations

120 percent or 120 keys? o.O Full size is what u describe - (normal keyboard alpha-numeric + fkeys top row + arrow and function keys then + numpad on right side) And u can get a 80% (which is what I believe the wooting 80 is) he, he = hall effect (magnetic switches, NOT mechanical, but most magnetic

M1 v5 TMR Firmware wishlist

It started with the Windows driver. MonsGeek ships an Electron app for keyboard configuration — a 200MB+ behemoth wrapping minified, webpack-bundled JavaScript. I cracked it open, traced the USB HID vendor protocol by sniffing traffic with Wireshark, and started mapping out the commands: key remappi

keyboard upgrade

Do you want a magnetic board, a conventional board, or you're not sure? If you want the option of switching the Monsgeek M1 V5 TMR supports mixing and matching magnetic and conventional switches. The software is reportedly still a work in progress though.

Looking for competitive TKL/75 snap tap keyboard

assuming 150$ budget, check out IROK MG75 Pro/Max/V2 and SU75 Pro.Whichever suits your budget. All come with aluminium case and they sound pretty decent. All 3 should be a step up from your Wooting60 HE.MG75v2 > MG75 Max = SU75 Pro > MG75 Pro You can get M1 V5 TMR/HE if you want, but it uses RongYuan

Deciding between Wireless TMR keyboards

I did end up getting MonsGeek M1 V5 TMR, but haven't used it much as waiting for some keycaps, but checked out the software - considerably worse than Wootings, not much surprises there, magnetic latch system is cool though. If you have any particular questions - happy to answer. My friend got the Wo

MonsGeek M1 V5 TMR | Womier sk75 tmr | Wobkey rainy 75 rt pro?

MonsGeek M1 V5 TMR and Wormier SK75 TMR are my options. Specs wise it seems they're identical but Mosgeek is easier to mod. I decided to get the latter since it is USD35 cheaper and software seems more okay compared to Monsgeek.

Steelseries Apex 9 mini

whats your opinion on m1 v5 tmr? I dislike Akko/Monsgeek boards in general. Sure, they fall into the entry budget range, but too generic and boring to my taste in both look and sound/feel. So my opinion may sound too... discouraging. > in this case i could go magnetic on WASD and the rest with some
