Tell Me Not to Buy These Mascaras (I Will Not Listen but Tell Me Anyway) 🥴
Maybelline Sky High tubing mascara is the way to go. I've use Tarte and it's better, truly. Everything I use is high end brands EXCEPT the mascara. I tried Dior, YSL, Haus... Maybelline wins.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel like they can’t justify paying the extra money for a high end mascara?
Yep. I used to only buy the Hourglass Caution mascara but the price kept going up and I just couldn’t do it. Ended up falling in love with the Maybelline Sky High mascara. Sure, I go through the tubes slightly faster than I did with Hourglass but the good thing is Maybelline 1) goes on sale frequent

hila going on her shane dawson arc 🤩
That shit died years ago. Tbh it did push conventional brands to up their game and with rising costs of living, lots of people just went back to drug store brands or beauty stores if they're feeling fancy. I can't care for an influencer mascara when Maybelline's Sky High works perfectly fine 🤷‍♀️

Tubing mascara doesn’t work
I have found that it depends on the brand, as to whether tubing mascara works properly. By far the best one in my opinion is by Kevin Aucoin. I use the 'Volume' mascara, which you can buy online or at Mecca, but it's over $50 last time I purchased it. I am a watery-eyed person and it has never smudg

Eyeliner and general help
I would try a brown eyeliner maybe even a pencil or eyeshadow with a liner brush instead of liquid, black looks very harsh. I would only go to the outside of your irises like the outer third of your eyes so it blends better and follow the lower lash line up instead of the top down. Then you can fill

What's the one makeup product you can't live without?
Maybelline Sky High Mascara! My holy grail, I always get compliments on how long my lashes are. It’s affordable, too.

Affordable Brand Product Recs
The maybelline sky high mascara is life. Better than any high end. Easy to remove. I love elf’s sticky primers. Milani has great setting spray and I love their blushes. Winky lux makes my favorite liquid contour and blushes. I spend big money on fancy foundations, and I do drugstore for the rest.

What makeup products are actually worth spending more money on?
Last ten years or so, drugstore makeup has improved immensely. I'd look up articles and YouTube videos about "drugstore makeup as good as high end". Personally high end mascara just isn't worth it when you can get things like Maybelline Sky High mascara including a tubing option. I use both a high e

Does anyone have drugstore makeup brands/products they recommend? I'm spending too much money on high end products and they don't seem to be up to the hype.
It depends greatly on the product you’re looking for in makeup what brand is ranked best, just like luxury brands. Try looking up Allure award winners and that’ll help. Or just google “best rated drugstore

what's a makeup product you'd never splurge on?
Mascara. Maybelline Sky High is the goat. Other high end mascaras I’ve tried are no different to drugstore🤷🏼‍♀️All my favourites overtime have been Maybelline.
