On the point of the power saving feature - I have the same frustrations. the length of time before the mouse goes idle is extremely short but the more annoying thing is having to click a button on the mouse for it to wake up. Was a little bummed that the new MMO7+ didn't come with a pinky wing or a raised palm rest, but I found 4 or 5 of each along with a bunch of other components! MadCatz just released the MMO 7+. I don't play a lot of MMOs, but I still think it is their best mouse. It currently doesn't come with a pinky rest, but it is compatible with the previous MMO 7 pinky rest, and MadCatz said they will release a pinky rest accessory in the future (hopefully a near one)

Appreciate the review! Ordered mine two days ago! Fiest time Mad Catz user. I've only used the "traditional" MMO mice /w the numpad on the side. Really looking forward to the switch!

+1 on the Cyborg 2, was a huge upgrade for my aching gremlin hands. For mice, though, I use a Mad Catz MMO7+ and…I wouldn’t recommend it. The only reason I use it is because I hate myself for drunkenly spending money on it.

Roccan Kone XP air has you covered. Same with Mad Catz MMO7+ (just released in Japan, coming to the rest of the world soon). Asus Chackram X. If you're happy with fewer buttons: Kysona Uranus Pro. Keychron M7. That's all I can remember off the top of my head.
