I have always found that the mascara wand is more impactful than the formula at times, because mascara formula is ALWAYS going to change in texture once the package is opened. I typically like a thick and voluminous look so I seek out mascara wands that fiber/bristles and shaped like an hourglass. M

Reporting back! the MAC primer came as a free sample when I re-ordered the MAC stack mascara. It’s been my go-to for a little while now. So I think they’re formulated to play nice together. Essence lash without limits!! It’s comparable to my MAC stack elevated mascara. Doesn’t run (I have issues with all other mascaras running) and can hold up a curl. And it’s only $5.

Yes they do! Last year I got a full sized plumping squirt gloss balm, a mini Mac stack mascara and a cleanser. They have great gifts.
