I have always found that the mascara wand is more impactful than the formula at times, because mascara formula is ALWAYS going to change in texture once the package is opened. I typically like a thick and voluminous look so I seek out mascara wands that fiber/bristles and shaped like an hourglass. M

I don't like a single Essence product I've tried, in general, apart from the cuticle oil. From the drugstore cathegory, I think L'Oreal makes the best mascaras, seconded by Mabelline. Essence lash without limits!! It’s comparable to my MAC stack elevated mascara. Doesn’t run (I have issues with all other mascaras running) and can hold up a curl. And it’s only $5.

You should definitely try the MAC macstack mascara! It’s better that bad girl bang💯 separates the lashes so so good ! You’ve convinced me to get the Bobbi brown cuz I’ve been loving the MAC Kajal and they last so long 🤌🏽 had the Estée Lauder on my list but getting Bobbi brown first 🤭

Lancome hypnose mascara, I have the Mac stack mascara too. Very good, doesn’t dry up and doesn’t clump my lashes. Most of them are hypoallergenic if i remember correctly.

You haven’t shared skin type/tone/price range, but either way I would start super simple. A skin tint like the loreal one and then a powder to set down. Pressed or loose. I like the no7 pressed one. Powder blush is a bit easier to work with in my opinion and will last longer than a liquid/cream. You
