LK5 Pro

Just because it had it from the factory doesn't mean it's the right or only way. A video I watched recently made me think. Our biggest flaw as makers is the thinking that a company knows better than we do and that the decisions they made in the design or implementation of a product is the only way.

I’m in the same boat sorta, I’ve had a longer lk5 pro for years but I’m tired of fixing and fussing with it. It’s every other print I gotta spend 3hrs debugging something. I may be begrudgingly spending more than I wanted and go with Snapmaker or Bambu.

I miss my longer lk5 pro but man I had to work on that thing constantly to get decent prints

Heat to 230c (assuming it’s just PLA), use a pair of snips and just slowly and gently chip away. Worst case scenario you need to get a new hotend/nozzle combo (not that bad) just be patient with it. If it doesn’t move don’t force it. Had to do this with a Longer LK5 Pro and thankfully nothing needed

I got an sv06 ace thinking it was an upgrade from my longer lk5 pro, man was I ever wrong. The print quality is night and day, unfortunately I got rid of the longer before I realized that.

Of course! I got mine used in basically unknown condition in a lot of 3 other printers for $150. I cleaned it up, did a full nut and bolt check, cleared the nozzle, replaced the Bowden tube and it’s been a great lil printer. What’s funny and odd though, is one of the other printers is a Longer LK5 P
