What keyboard would you keep forever if you had to choose one?

Logitech K800 Illuminated Keyboard. Je redoute le moment où le mien tombera en panne car il ne se fait plus, et aucun modèle ne remplit tous ses critères : membrane (cône silicone je pense), rétro-éclairé, sans fil, pavé numérique, batterie remplaçable (petite bidouille).

any suggestions regarding what keyboard to use?

The best way to select a new keyboard is to go to local stores - Staples, Best Buy, or Microcenter if you have one - and actually try the keyboards they have on display. They're not usually connected to computers, so you'll have to just type blindly, but that will give you a feel for the size and sh

Should I buy the MX Mechanical now or wait for a refresh?

Wanna know the biggest irony? I could buy the K5 Max + ABS shine-thru. PBT opaque is a NO GO for me. I have only TWO basic requirements for ANY kayboard. N1: it needs to be wireless and N2: it needs to have backlit keys that are visible in the dark. I've been using wireless backlit keyboards since t

End of an era

I have 6 mechanical keyboards one of them it's Logitech. But for regular wireless my favorite is k800. The original one with user replaceable batteries kind was the best.

Please help me find a dead quiet wireless keyboard..

I had Logitech K740 (wired) and K800 (wireless) illuminated keyboards that I loved, but of course Logitech stopped making them. MX Keys is the replacement, but lacks the palm rest and IMO is overpriced for what it is. Cherry Stream is a full-size keyboard that uses the same quiet scissor keys as the

Just had my shield pro delivered!

Can confirm, I think it used to be the Logitech K400 and K800 but the model numbers have probably changed. But yes, they are amazing especially when you start really using it as a media center. Both the keyboard and track pad are invaluable.

Looking for RECS for Full Size 3 Device BT Backlit Keyboard

Try the logitech K800... It's got backlighting and connects to a bunch of devices over Bluetooth. If you’re looking for something else, the Keychron K4 is pretty good for using with multiple devices too. Also, have you looked at keyboardyeti? They have some handy comparisons and guides.

No way to separate the PCB from the plate without desoldering?

Regarding Logitech, I really don't know how they could screw up this badly with this keyboard. I have used their products for more than 15 years, but this one takes the prize as the shittiest Logitech product I ever had. Only because of the keycap design. All my mice and keyboards have been Logitech

Why is the MX Mechanical for?

I suspect most people downvoting don't actually use any applications that require them, but if you do, yeah it's a pita. The last good wireless keyboard logitech made targeting professionals was the K800, it seems ever since they've aimed for compact laptop-style boards :(
