I got myself a Logitech MX Mechanical. Mechanical feel, without the noise - didn’t need that (I’m old; when I started all regular keyboards were clicky and loud as hell). I wanted more feel, but not more noise

Do you need to get a desktop? WFH means you can work from anywhere and having a laptop that can dock at your desk to multiple monitors + external keyboard + mouse gives you the flexibility to have a desktop setup at home but also be able to work from other places when being stuck in your house gets

I have been using the MX Mechanical Mini with tactile switches for a few months now, and I think it's a fine keyboard. It's relatively low-profile for a mechanical keyboard, and not a huge change if you're coming from a slim keyboard like MX Keys.

Thank you, this is a really good response. I will definitely have a look. For the Logitech MX Mechanical, I'm curious about the tactile quiet (it's cheapest on Amazon) and Clicky, but I know I also like the feel of the Razer green switches.

Love, love, love clicky keys! I'm currently using the Logitech MX mechanical (clicky); it's right up my alley! Wish it came in a few other colorways.

I'd say, look into the MX Keys or MX Mechanical. Both are really solid for Blender shortcuts, and the typing feels fast and clean. The MX line is kind of a sweet spot for creative professional setups.

I hear you. I got so used to the Keys and Key S keyboards (and MacBook keyboards) that mechanical keyboards feel very different. Mind you I’m old school and grew up typing on the clicky IBM PS/2 keyboards. So switching to the MX Mech somehow reminds me of the good old days lol. Which MX mech switch
