My dream desk setup

Yeah, I can definitely give more details. I have 3 machines: 2 MacBooks (one personal, one for work) and a PC. I use the setup for both software development and gaming. The MacBooks are for work and personal projects, while the PC handles gaming and heavier tasks. Both of my monitors are 2K 165Hz an

What home office upgrades actually made a difference for you?

Do you need to get a desktop? WFH means you can work from anywhere and having a laptop that can dock at your desk to multiple monitors + external keyboard + mouse gives you the flexibility to have a desktop setup at home but also be able to work from other places when being stuck in your house gets

How to achieve the perfect dual-monitor setup?

I have Logitech’s unifying receiver plugged into my primary monitor, so both my keyboard (MX Mechanical Mini) and mouse (MX Master 3S) connect to that receiver. Each device has 3 channels (same for both): Channel 1 is paired with the receiver, while Channel 2 and 3 are paired directly with my Mac an

MX MINI NON-GAMING DEVICE. CAN WE USE MX MINI MECHANICAL FOR GAMING ?

Man, this finally worked! I downloaded your FirmwareUpdateTool but couldn't open it on mac, even with your tricks my system said that file is damaged or ignored it. I found a way for fixing permissions on mac with the help of chatgpt and after few tries I looked in to Settings -> Privacy and securit

Thanks to this sub just pulled the trigger on the M4 Mac mini. need honest advice on monitor + peripherals before I screw up.

The monitor is the toughest choice. Don't rush on that one. The best mouse I have used is the Logitech MX Master. I am currently using a 3S for Mac, but any of them will do well. I favor full sized mechanical keyboards and use a Logitech MX Mechanical. I would choose that KB again but if you don't l

Help me choose between 2 Keychron boards

On the surface they're very similar boards with similar feature sets, and at similar price points. The main difference is the design and construction - the V6 is 'gasket mount', the switches are on a (very nice quality!) custom circuit board, which is mounted between foam gaskets in the plastic case

Decisions, Decisions.

Welcome to the rabbit hole.. I'll preface that I'm still learning too, so take this as you will. My first mechanical KB was a Logitech G915. It was a huge upgrade from whatever crap my company provided and it was amazing. Clicky, and positive feel, but I ran into issues of wear and had one failure a

Logitech Flow with combined Unifying and Bolt devices

4 years later, I finally got an MX Mechanical and a Triathlon and I can confirm that Flow indeed works, both devices switchover together just fine, following the mouse.

My $2 keyboard is now $4 keyboard

Brother I’m happy with the garbage low profile browns in my Mx mechanical. Scratchy as hell with low travel but I just NEED a lil tactile bump. Also it freely swaps between my pc and Mac with legends. Could I have my own custom ergo split for less? Yea. Was it way easier in day to day life to have c

which keyboard should i get?

tbh you're right about the logitech keycap situation - their low profile boards use a non-standard stem so swapping caps is a pain. the nuphy air75 v3 uses gateron low profile switches with a more common stem, so you'll actually have options later. for wfh + casual gaming, the nuphy with blush switc
