This pissed me off so much when I found out after buying the mx mechanical mini. Why did they have to use a nonstandard keyboard layout?? Wtf? Also, the backlight constantly turning off and on that they refuse to fix his updates. I decided I will never buy anything by Logitech after that alone.

I updated Logi Options+ and the firmware on my MX Mechanical Mini, and set the backlight timeout to 5 seconds. It still stays on the whole time and refuses to turn off after 5 seconds. For a keyboard this expensive, you'd think basic settings would actually work. Classic Logitech. 😑

The reason I got the v3 is because of all the good reviews that people gave it. That and I wanted to replace my Logitech MX Mechanical Mini. That thing typed so terribly and the software was garbage. Glad to see other people liking this.

Logitech Mechanical doesn't have replaceble keycaps. In addition, the software and programmability is much more limited than the NuPhy's and doesn't work if the internet isn't live. My MX Mechanical is not honoring the backlighting settings. I'm on 2.5.926888. Set the time duration to 5 mins, brightness at 7.
