Hello friend! My boyfriend knows a thing or two about affordable gaming headsets, so I asked him. His favourite simple pair is the Logitech G432. We have used several and they always last about 3 years until they stop working. Those are around 40 euro. For a more premium pair go for the HyperX Cloud

Logitech G432 dirt cheap shit, these headphones are not by any means expensive or that expensive to exepct huge performance from them.

A simple/cheap over the ear headset like Logitech G432's will work fine. Don't even need the bullshit software. Sound output needs to be set to 24 bit, 44100Hz. No surround or other BS. The game outputs natively in 24/44100, but the engine reads your device settings and will convert (up/down mix). T

I'm organizing myself to fully transition to Linux, I really want to. There are some caveats, though. I am testing my usual activities on my old laptop. Logitech G-Hub. I can't find a Linux alternative that manages everything, like my G502 macros, or 7.1 simulated surround for my G432 headset. The o

Sure. Audio Technica ATH-G1 Beyerdynamic MMX200 and Tygr 300 R Sennheiser HD599+BAM500 All around $100-150 If those are too expensive then: Hyperx Cloud 2 or 3. Logitech G Pro X or G432(also has surround gimmick but at least won't break that quickly) Superlux HD660 Pro 32ohm(or HD330 Pro) + whicheve

Logitech hardware has been going down in quality for years. My wife is using a 20+ year old MX518 mouse that is basically unkillable. I've had multiple G502 mice, and none of them have made it more than a few years. And don't get me started on the Romer G switch garbage. Even their headsets are fail

Appreciate the response, was unable to find any solution to this issue that wasn't using a VM. Ended up getting a different headset, a Logitech G432, and it's been working perfectly without drivers.

June 9, 2026 Can't believe this still does the trick. :,D My old pair of G432 had the same issue 4 years ago, but I just couldn't remember what I did to fix it. Installing GHub and then increasing/decreasing the 'sidetone' setting solved the issue entirely. ๐ Logitech, your hardware is great, but BO
