If this helps, my top 3 headsets are, in no particular order (rankings below), the Astro A50’s, the Audeze Maxwell and the new SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Elite - with the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless right behind ‘em. Here are my breakdowns, as someone that owns all of them (well, minus the Nova Pro Wi

That’s why I chose the Logitech G Astro A50 X over all the other options. Still hands down the best mix of comfort, sound, mic, and features.

Here’s my opinion as a console user… I just returned my A50 headset to Best Buy and swapped to the A50x. If there's any sound difference between the 2 due to the bit rate - it's very minor imo (but I have 58 year old ears with a lot of concert time on them). I just wanted the ability to have chatmix

Try A50X Gen 5 Stock Pads - Immersive, Best All Around EQ, or Best Sound for A50 Gen 5. These are presets on Logitech Hub. I prefer the stock pads immersive by gadgetry tech, they are all good choices tho.

Astro A50 X has a completely different sound than the older models before they got bought out by logitech. Its a decent headset but you need to use "Steel series sonar" to make it sound like the OG Astros.

The A50 sidetone is detectable, I can tell when I mute and unmute the microphone, but I wouldn’t call it loud or amplified. The headphones already have almost no sound isolation so you can clearly hear everything around you even without sidetone. With sidetone on full it just sounds more clear and v

I own both concurrently and can give you my 2c You’re mixing up a workflow change with an actual audio downgrade. Gen 4 didn’t give you “real” surround everywhere — it matrixed lossy Dolby Digital 5.1 over Toslink and virtualised it in the base station. Convenient, yes. Higher fidelity, no. It added

Thinking of either A50 gen5 since its essentially the same as X or i might go ahead and do an A50 X since I do have a ps5 and it will let me get rid of my sony inzone h9 But thats only if the earpad issue on the scape is known to be recurring because quite frankly im just lazy Like i said i liked my

Got the Logitech G Astro A50 X after my old Turtle Beach headset finally gave up on me, and wowza this thing is something else. Sound quality is absolutely insane, I can hear every little detail in games now, footsteps, reload sounds, ambient stuff I never noticed before. Makes a huge difference in
