Discontinuing A40's Will Kill Astro

Logitech bought them out a few years ago and from what I've heard this is on par for Logitech to do. They'll buy out a company and slowly over time just phase out their core components essentially killing the brand. Look at the new A50 X that released, you can barely find any Astro branding on it an

Looking for best headset for ps5 pro

If this helps, my top 3 headsets are, in no particular order (rankings below), the Astro A50’s, the Audeze Maxwell and the new SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Elite - with the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless right behind ‘em. Here are my breakdowns, as someone that owns all of them (well, minus the Nova Pro Wi

I am sorry Audeze, I really tried - firmware hope?

That’s why I chose the Logitech G Astro A50 X over all the other options. Still hands down the best mix of comfort, sound, mic, and features.

Giving the A50X a test run. Debating between these and the Nova Pros.

Here’s my opinion as a console user… I just returned my A50 headset to Best Buy and swapped to the A50x. If there's any sound difference between the 2 due to the bit rate - it's very minor imo (but I have 58 year old ears with a lot of concert time on them). I just wanted the ability to have chatmix

Further confirmation A40s are discontinued

I will never understand why Logitech discontinued the Astro A40. Especially when you consider it was Astro’s first headset in 2006 and was practically their flagship headset along with the A50 when that released.

Logitech creates some really awesome gear, so why are the headsets seemingly so bad in comparison.

All the gaming headsets are shit but Logitech is less shit when you compare to Razer SteelSeries Corsair ones. G pro x2 have some Ghub equilazer issues otherwise its not bad. Also SteelSeries Nova Pro gets blown away by Astro A50's Idk why you add G935 its a really outdated old headset. Dont know ab

Never buying razer

IMO for wireless your back under the gaming brands a bit. Steelseries IMO is still top dog (Artics Pro Wireless) Audeze Maxwell (Audiophile Quality for gamers) Astros a50 (I have before Logitech but haven’t heard bad things and software is much much better than old Astro stuff) Hyper X, I had but I

Gaming Headset

Caveat, I'm a PC gamer that doesn't use headsets these days, but I have a sorta big head, I've encountered this SO much lol. But when I did still opt just for headsets before I switched to PC and set myself up with a boom arm mic rig + studio headphones, I loved HyperX's headsets for fit & comfort.

Elites are....elite!

You are not correct. You can’t connect with the companion app with the Pros and use all the EQ, mic settings etc. The sound is not on the same level. I have both. I also have the Maxwell and Logitech G-astro A50 McLaren.
