Bluetooth rechargeable speaker option with no delay using aux wired input?
I have a LG xboom Stage 301, it has somewhere between 30-50ms delay (tested it myself). Unless you're coupling with a 0-delay PA or vinyl beat matching by ear to headphones, that delay is low enough to not be noticeable. Pretty great DJ speaker for the price, can rock a 20 person party easily. The l

Which speakers to get?
I've got an LG xboom Stage 301 which seems to check all your boxes. There's a nice sound reactive lightshow on there, however that only works when you are playing music off bluetooth. Latency is 30-50ms when using either the 3.5mm aux in or TRS in, I've checked. It's not too bad if you don't have a

I want to give my friend a chance to get some DJ experience in. Looking to buy a speaker that is reasonable on latency and volume for 30 people.
Mackie Thump Go, or an LG xboom Stage 301. The LG has a good built in light show and about 30ms of latency, but the lights are only sound reactive in bluetooth mode, not wired. Mackie has no lights and should have no latency when wired.

Soundboks MIX or Soundboks 4?
For the price of the Soundboks MIX or Soundboks 4, I think I'd rather get an Elektrovoice Everse 8. For DJing specifically, the Soundboks speakers have significant sound delay, even when using the wired connection. Whereas the Everse 8 will not have delay when wired, and it has more wired connection

Beginner DJ Looking For Portable Wired Speaker Suggestions
I was doing a review of a different speaker and had the soundcore available to compare against as well as a Minirig. You need to compare it to an actual zero latency speaker to really tell. It was worse than the LG xboom stage 301 as well. This is the waveforms when I had matched beats with headphon

Are there any multi-purpose speakers that can be used as monitors and PA?
Most PA speakers have a considerable distance between the low-mid (woofer) driver and the high frequency driver (tweeter). That means they don't sound that good at very short distances but rather come into their own after at least 2-3 meters. However there are a few exceptions to this rule! I like t
