I noticed that if I hook up my Xbox Ally X to my LG G3 OLED and play FH6, then switch to my Xbox, that they look completely different, despite both being calibrated. The contrast was much higher on the Windows device. I found it's because the Xbox is using Dolby Vision. I disabled that on the Xbox a

Naah man you do you. I always had slow laptops and was always enamored by it. But simple middle class, aspirations and reality differ , so I was satiated at playing games at 30fps on LCD screens. Fast track to 2023, I finally got my set up. I enjoy story based games out of my couch so I decided to g

I always recommend an LG OLED if you can. I have an LG CX a C1 and a G3 and all are phenomenal. Obviously the newer ones are going to be better in different ways but even getting an older one, you'll notice the difference.

Support for BWRG/WOLED is here. It's untested though. https://forums.libretro.com/t/adamanttron-hdr-crt-shader/50741?u=cyber Let's hope LG doesn't just use the existing WOLED modules with the white subpixel disabled or missing because that would mean that the spacing issue would be the same as all o

The LG G3 can passthrough every lossless format with no issues so connecting to the TV and using eARC is fine in this case. Source: I own a G3.

Any of the LG G series, it's an OLED TV and my G3 is amazing. I think they are at G6 now :) Seeing my eldest son playing The Last of Us Parts 1 and 2 on my Pro was jaw dropping.

The matte frame is a huge plus but the UI is poor. I was torn between this and an LG G3(?) oled which is also flush to the wall. If you only watch at night get an oled

I have an lg g3 but I also have a msi mini led monitor with a lot of dimming zones as a result I can compare 4K hdr on both basically side by side and honestly I really like both there are small differences but it’s nowhere near as big as it used to be if my lg broke or starts having burn in I’d pro

Went from a 2013 plasma from generic Best Buy brand to LG G3 oled. I am an art major who always hopes to see things as the creator intended (colors, food flavors, grain, etc) and still wasn’t sure why I wanted OLED. I went toy brothers and he threw on Fury Road. The first time I saw a true black pix

Purchased this tv in 65” to replace an LG G3 and I think it is absolutely amazing. Had another Sony OLED prior to LG but was too dark for my aging eyes. The 9ii is bright, colorful and I do not miss my G3. Processing on a Sony is unmatched to my eyes however everyone sees what they like and I can re
