AVForums just reviewed the new LG G6 OLED -- those scores are pretty wild.
I allready written that there is considerable...considerable lower grain on Samsung S90F and even more lower on Samsung S90C. All 3 TV's were 65 inches. On Samsung's TV's pushing Noise reduction really do the trick, but even with that disable both Samsungs that I tested had a smaller amount of it th

Samsung S95F vs LG G5— wallet says Samsung, heart says LG.
S95F beat G5 in HDTVtests shootout for 2025 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZxzVqMp73qk It was very close to the Bravia 8 II even and won best living room TV. It's legit a really solid TV and the peak brightness means DV dosen't matter that much. Also if you get a Apple TV you skip the bad TV UI. G5

Should I Return My LG G5 for a Sony Bravia 8 II?
I returned the LG G5 due to three main issues: Bright areas are too intense, even subtitles appear overly bright. The setting didn’t fix the problem. Details in near-black scenes are missing. My LG has a strange issue when playing La La Land on Apple TV: a thin red/white line flashes just above the

Don't sleep on mini-leds
Very few Mini-LED TVs impress the way OLEDs do, but there's at least one (Bravia 9) and there will be more with True RGB Mini-LED launching this year. I have a Bravia 9 and it's more impressive than a LG G5, which my wife games on. And the new True RGB Sony TVs this year are set to blow Bravia 9 awa

PSSR 2.0 Made me play way less on my pc with Rtx 5080
False that it's much easier for me to play games on pro because you don't have to tweak settings much ? how is it false ? I have the best Oled monitor on the market right now, if i don't tweak my setting and get a perfect frame time, this shit flickers like crazy, i just tried playing Silent hill 2

TV Upgrade?
I have (tried OLED after playing on a QLED - MiniLED). Bravia 9, LG G5 and now LG G6. Bravia 9 is still the most impressive out of these so I'll be upgrading to a True RGG Mini-LED TV from Sony once they launch this year. Whichever will be top of the lineup.

I couldn't get over Point 2 - it has a lot of grain. I couldn't watch my favourite serie Two and a Half men because of that grain. Sent it back. It has very good face tones, colors almost in QD OLED realm (they done it here), great brightness, medium motion handling, black crushing with latest updat

LG G5 77"
A lot of people including myself are cursed with the G5 popping issue, where the tv makes a bunch of popping and snapping sounds with bright content due to thermal expansion. If you're willing to take this gamble then the G5 is a great TV in every other way, just know that's there's a decent chance
